Made from a single piece of spalted pecan wood. The slab was stabilized and then coated with a food safe finish. This board is NOT for cutting, as the finish will quickly chip and deteriorate. Pecan wood is a house favorite at Ten Point, due to its wide array of colors and features. Due to the curved nature of the live edge slab, the handles have been adjusted at slight angles to keep the board balanced while carrying a load of treats. Made from white oak and aromatic red cedar. Features a large sturdy clip to keep the tail firmly in place while filleting. Clip has a rubber grip for ease of use when wet or slimy. Both white oak and red cedar naturally contain a large amount of antimicrobial tannins and oils, helping to keep the board food safe and smell-free alongside regular cleaning. Board has been finished with a food safe tung oil, which also helps harden and seal the wood to prevent marring.
